Hotel Bardot Premieres May 1 & 2 at 8pm

“THE GODS.  MAGIC.  BUSINESS.”

LADAD Space and Padua present a workshop production

of a new play by Heidi Darchuk

Directed by Guy Zimmerman

One of the freshest talents to emerge from the celebrated Padua writers’ workshop over the past few years is playwright Heidi Darchuk. Heidi’s short play, Knots, one of the standouts in the company’s 1K Words production in 2008, was followed by the equally compelling and original Tiny Trumpets in Padua’s Neo Sacred Revival early in 2009. The company is excited to present a workshop production of Heidi’s surreal, poetic and darkly funny full-length play, Hotel Bardot. The play is set in a netherworld between life and death and examines issues of sexuality and mortality in unique and compelling ways.
